Telephone counselling

 

Careline, a national charity providing a FREE* confidential NATIONAL telephone counselling service, face to face counselling and hypnotherapy services. 

 

Telephone Counselling: 0845 122 8622 

10am to 1pm and 7pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday

 

Unlike many of the specialist counselling or telephone helplines Careline volunteers are trained to help callers resolves a broad range of emotional issues that can impact any of us, at any time.

Not just a listening service, Careline is dedicated to providing intervention that help callers move on with their lives, putting their emotional turmoil behind them.  If you do not find what you are looking for on these pages, please contact us directly.

We also offer face to face counselling and hypnotherapy services to east London residents.


Call charges

Careline provide a national rate number to ensure that users are not overcharged for the cost of their call.  the number is supplied through arrangements with the Telephone helpline Association (THA).  Careline do not receive a contribution from either the THA or your telephone company.

*The actual rate you pay is determined by your telephone network provider.   Many telephone service providers offer free or discounted call rates to "friends" which can benefit regular callers of Careline.

BACP Organisational Membership

As an organisational member of the BACP we are bound by its Ethical Framework for good practice in Counseling and Psychotherapy and subject to professional conduct procedures for the time being in force.  

Friends of Careline

The site provides supporting information about Emotional Distress and Counselling and ideas for our Friends to help them with fund raising.

The site also promotes our Friends when they have made it into either local or national papers.

Run For Careline

We still have spaces in the Great South Run - October 26th 2008 and are taking entries for the London Marathon in 2009.
