All paid and voluntary roles that involve contact with vulnerable adults require a CRB check to be completed BEFORE you may start training or before an offer is made.  Details of the application process can be obtained from our third party provider.

The results of a completed CRB checks are considered in line with our policy on ex-offenders.

Careline do not retain copies of CRB checks once the contents have been noted.

All volunteers working unsupervised with children are required to hold an enhanced CRB and other checks to ensure their suitability.  To prevent any delay, we ask that you complete an enahanced CRB check at the time of your application (or provide evidence of one having been completed within the last twelve months).  Criminal records are not a bar to engagement, and all previous convictions are considered in line with our  policies published on the internet.
