The Careline School for Applied Psychology and Special
Educational Needs is headed by Terry Cope MSc, Chartered Educational
Psychologist, Chartered Counselling Psychologist (former Principal Educational
Psychologist within a London Education Authority). Terry is a Chartered member
of the British Pschological Society and professional advisor to the Trustees of
the national telephone helpline, Careline.
Terry Cope brings text books to life, adds humour
to dry subjects and use simple examples that illustrate
theoretical models, but above all, Terry addresses every student as an
individual. No wonder Terry is also a guest lecturer at the School of
Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy and is in great demand.
Qualifying as a teacher in 1965 with a BSc joint honours in
Psychology and Physiology, Terry later graduated with a MSc in Educational
Psychology. Terry Cope has considerable experience in applying the theory of
psychology to practical events, and her skills have been used to revise the "O"
& "A" level Psychology syllabus for the joint metriculation board. In 1987
Terry began lecturing for the Open University in the field of Special
Educational Needs, inspiring psychologists, teachers, SENCO, counsellors with
her straight forward, simple approach to complex psychological subjects.
