Careline and our financial arm, Careline Commercial Services
Limited have experienced a year of significant growth in 2007, we have jointly
taken the decision that our newsletters be converted to e-newsletters (also
available in hard copy) as a crucial means of communicating with our
volunteers, friends of Careline and supporters. Accordingly, we are
looking to solicit interest for the voluntary position described below.
E-Newsletter Editor
The E-Newsletter editor will be responsible for editing and producing 6
substantial newsletters yearly. The role can be done at home or our office
and the successful candidate will be responsible to the Centre Manager, in the
first instance and Chair in the second.
The role is defined as:
- preparing 6 substantial yearly e-newsletters for each Society
- ensuring topics are professional, relevant and up to date
- soliciting member and trainer interest and developing "profile"
sections
- sourcing articles as well as links to relevant websites
- coordinating advertising for the newsletters
- work will either be in MS Word (training given)
Volunteer should:
- be experienced counsellors with hypnotherapy interests
- have no conflicts of interest (e.g. committee work for other bodies)
- be able to demonstrate transferable skills in writing/editing
- be fully conversant with MS Office, especially Word and Outlook
- be able to work to strict deadlines
- be enquiring, methodical and accurate
