Careline welcomes new trustee

The Trustees have welcomed Isaak Badru (pictured) to their management team. Isaak joins with ten years experience of recruitment and employment matters and is a Regional Director of the trade body Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC). Isaak is also has a track record of success in mentoring young people.

Isaak has already set his sights on working with Steve Ladle help secure the financial future of Careline "I see myself as supporting the fundraising effort and will provide assistance in supporting Trustees as they deliver their strategic plan. In particular I see my recruitment expertise as helping attract new talent at all levels of the organization."

Careline expands

Following consultation, the team of Careline counsellors has been increased with further highly trained counsellors. The new pool of talent, all volunteers, will help us open the telephone counselling lines for longer hours which means we will be able to help many more people.

Help to young people

We recognise that younger people have different issues

and thanks to some additinal funding we are able to continue working with a Chartered Educational Psychologist to help sustain and develop our support for younger people.
