As Careline roll out their national development strategy, headed by Trustee
Nikki Cole, the role of Company Secretary is a crucial volunter
function.
Not just repsonsible for ensuring compliance with Charity Commission
guidelines, you will also work closely with the Chair to ensure the
Trustee team is supported and objectives are being effectively
monitored.

In addition to specific duties, all trustees have a duty to:
- Developing expertise leading discussions in an agreed area (e.g.
Marketing, Public Relations, Training, Recruitment & Selection,
Fundraising, Information Systems, Counselling, Youth Skills)
- To develop and manage through to completion, agreed projects
- Organising and attending regular and ad-hoc meetings
- Scrutinising board papers
- Liasing with other organisations and voluntary bodies
- Focusing on key issues
- Providing guidance on new initiatives
- Other issues as they arise
