The psychology of Emotional Intelligence and Behavioural Personal Awareness

In an age of unprecedented prosperity and opportunity, there are still may of us who feel that something is wrong with our lives: Why do we suffer from stress and confusing emotional overload? Often we feel our lives are empty.

Frequently our behaviours and actions are in conflict to our values, consequently our relationships can suffer and we can develop unhealthy coping habits.

We can find ourselves drinking too much, smoking, overeating, getting angry or shouting at the kids or our partners and we feel we are losing control. We end up becoming dependant on others, working increasingly long hours, and feeling drains of energy. We become emotionally impoverished, in other words cut off from whom we genuinely are.

These are all signs that we may be in need of some ‘me’ time.

During the six weeks and guided by our expert, Judith Romain, you will gain an understanding of a range of psychological and psychotherapeutic models.  You will also be encouraged to interact to develop awareness. Enjoyable group exercises will be used to facilitate your emerging personal awareness.

You will take away from this course effective strategies and tips to help you deal with the ups and downs of life and you will become aware of how to get through times when you often feel stuck and confused more productively.

Each week the group will explore psychological, emotional and behavioural needs.

Course costs just £25 per week and spaces are strictly limited to ensure personal interaction is maximised.
